Terms and Conditions


We fully understand that when you buy online you don't get the opportunity to see the product up close and at times this may result in fancy dress costumes being returned to us.

If on receiving your costume you are not fully satisfied with your purchase please E-mail: within 3 days and return within 14 days.

  • No returns available on wigs and hosiery due to hygiene. 
  • Items must be returned unused, with any tags intact, in the original packaging and in re-saleable condition. All original packaging including picture/header cards should accompany any return item undamaged.
  • If the costume contains accessories/wigs sealed in packets these must be unopened.
  • We are not a manufacturer: so the whole product and packaging must be returned in the same condition as you would have received it and how you may expect to receive it. If the product or packaging with the picture card is missing or damaged in any way or the costumes appear to have been worn, we cannot refund.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a refund where items are not returned in original condition.
  • You are responsible for any returned goods until they reach us. Return postage costs are non-refundable and we strongly recommend that you receive 'proof of posting' or use Royal Mails 'Recorded Signed for' service.
  • All refunds will only be credited back to the original payment method.
  • We are sorry but due to false promises in the past, we are unable to replace an item until the original is returned to 'The Costume Cabin'. If you need an item in a hurry, we suggest you place a second order for the new item and send the original back, where upon receipt a refund will be given.
  • Sometimes and especially if goods are purchased in advance for a present or delivered while on holiday, the 7 day response timescale can be missed, we are happy to consider a full refund, however, we must be advised by you by email or telephone if this is the case and 7 days has passed.
  • Should an item be returned and received after 30 days, we will have no obligation to refund. If you wish the item to be resent to you, we will ask for payment to cover postage costs.

Returns Policy - Faulty Goods

  • Should a product be faulty, you should let us know immediately and we will happily refund or exchange it for you, if the item is available, once we have received the item back in our procession.
  • Refunds can only be made to the original method of payment.

Paypal Delivery

  • When ordering using Paypal please try and ensure that you are able to use a Confirmed address for delivery. 
  • While we will ship to Unconfirmed addresses we cannot accept responsibility if the delivery address is incorrect.  
  • It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery address has been entered when the order is placed. 
If you decide you would like to change a delivery address then email immediately or add a buyers note when paying.
